Through our Urgent Care Clinic program, we provide after hours urgent care allowing patients to seek medical assistance any time of the day.
What is urgent care?
Urgent care is when you need medical attention for an illness that can be managed without a trip to the emergenct room but cannot wait for a regular appointment with a GP.
These may include:
- minor infections
- minor fractures, sprains, sports injuries and neck and back pain
- urinary tract infections (STIs)
- minor cuts
- insect bites and rashes
- minor eye and ear infections
- respiratory illness
- gastroenteritis
- mild burns.
How to access urgent care?
To access urgent care after hours, you can:

- Visit the Mala'la clinic and press our emergency button outside our emergency department.
