From Tuesday 6 to 9 August, Mala'la Health carried out its biannual Healthy Skin Week in collaboration with Menzies, the Starlight Foundation and WARC.

During this four-day event, teams of doctors, nurses and community workers engaged with the community through house-to-house visits, providing education, skin assessments and treatments.

Captain Cha Cha and Captain Jellyfish from the Starlight Foundation also made their way to Maningrida showing some excellent dance moves and participating in activities around community.

Every day all participants of health checks and scans went into a raffle to win a prize such as mattress, lawnmower or washing machine with 12 winners being drawn throughout the week.

A total of 451 checks were made through the week.

A special thanks to Menzies, The Starlight Foundation, all volunteers and the community  in making a spectacular week.
