The 2024 NT PHN Health Professional of the Year Awards was hosted on 16 August 2024 at the Darwin Convention Centre with Mala'la being one the nominees for FCD Health Primary Healthcare Service of the Year.

The event celebrated the outstanding achievements of individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to the NT healthcare industry.

A big congratulations to Mala'la winning runner-up Practice of the Year!

There was also special recognition to Greg Norman, our friend and colleague who has had a tremendous impact on the lives of these who he had touched.

The Maningrida Footy Festival is back for 2025!

After the successful launch of the Maningrida Footy Festival in 2024, we are excited to share that it’s back for another round on Friday 14 and Sunday 16 November. As part of our partnership with the Sydney Swans, we will have several of their AFL and AFLW players and staff join us for a week of footy clinics, workshops and other activities across the West Arnhem region before concluding the week at the Maningrida Footy Festival.

Construction commences on Mala'la Health Service expansion

23 July 2025

Construction is now underway on the expansion of Mala’la Health Service that will improve access to health care for the Maningrida community. The project will deliver a new facility which will include a new rheumatic heart disease space, training room and more clinical rooms.
